vintage channel

anyone else think it would be cool if disney came out with a channel that only played old school cartoons and stuff like ducktales?

Permalink Reply by Katrina on October 12, 2008 at 10:05am: Right now Toon Disney plays a lot of the Disney Afternoon cartoons that you're talking about. However, I've heard somewhere that it's going to be turned into a 24hr JETIX channel (meaning all action cartoons). While I like a few of the JETIX cartoons (mostly just Batman and Superman, which is ironic cuz they're not even remotely Disney properties), I think it's too bad that we're losing those old cartoons that they play. They're available on DVD though, so I think I'm probably gonna start collecting those. XD

But yeah, in answer to your actual question, I think it would be really cool. Highly unlikely, but like a "Vintage Disney Channel" Channel. And throw in a lot of the really old cartoons and Vault Disney shows to round it all out. I'd pay premium for that channel!; ▶ Reply to This

I would totally tune in! Especially the WWofD with Walt's intros! (You can edit out the ones done by Michael Eisner, just not the same effect!)
