Weather in Late Sept.
we are going for the first time in late Sept./early Oct. What kind of weather should we expect? Same as August or a little different?

Weather is usually nice nothing to worry about. :-) It is usually not as hot as August but sometimes Florida weather tends to surprise you.

It is gorgeous. You may need to wear pants, and not shorts. And may be a light jacket at night. All depends on what you find comfortable climate. But its generally mid upper 70's during the day and drop to the 60's at night that time of year. Parks arent usually opened that late either around then.

The weather is so much nicer than in August - definitely cooler but not cold. You might need jeans and a jacket at night, but can still get away with shorts during the day. I've had some days I've been there and it's been pretty hot too!

last time i went in sept we were hit with hurrican Floyd - but that was back in 99! from what i remember there wea quite a bit of rain too but still a LOT better than british weather which im used to :P
anyway, ill be back in Sept this year - 14th - 28th :D

somewhat sticky and humid...but for the most part great weather...maybe bring a pair of pants and a sweat shirt or jacket for night
