what do we do with mousefest now?
well now that the official mousefest is over how can we salvage this time, calmly, collectively,and with respect, and still have a good time

I'm still in the shock phase. I was so looking forward to MouseFest this year. I do think a lot of people will still head down during that time, so I hope there are several other types of gatherings so that Disney folks can still meet and mingle. I know my company is still planning on escorting groups on both the Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World during that time period - so perhaps something can come together on a smaller scale.

well i dont know exactly how everyone else feels, but i will not give up hope for this year i understand and feel for those who have led before. i thank them from the bottom of my heart. maybe we can give them a rest this year. Is anyone up to help leading in a small way an organized meet? i will do what i can

As I understand it it's not totally dead !
Just not happening this year as there is no one to spend that type of time to organize it.
It's a huge venture to get going i guess and no volunteers :(

I'm willing to be a lot of people will still show up down there during that time and there will be a lot of "unofficial meets". I know Lou Mongello is already planning his "Meet of the Month" for December during that time.

It is a four day event where Disney fans from all over head to Walt Disney World to get together and enjoy the parks together. There are a lot of meets during that time where you can ride attractions together, grab a bite, learn something new, etc. It is a great time to meet new Disney friends and enjoy the parks together.
