What Would You Buy on iTunes?

Well I own a lot of Disney music, but have not bought any on iTunes yet. When I do, I will first buy 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. That should cover almost 15 buy itself. :-)

WOW! This is a hard one....I would have to say that anything that had to do with the parks themselves at WDW so I can transport back whenever I want to. The first would have to be anything from Magic Kingdom and Festival of the Lion King.

In no particular order:

1.Beauty and the Beast (aka "Tale As Old As Time") from, obviously, Beauty and the Beast. I love listening to this song because that moment in the movie is so classically Disney- probably one of the best animated sequences ever made. The song is about love and it makes me smile every time I listen to it.

2.On My Way from Brother Bear. Not my favorite movie, but the song is very upbeat and catchy. And it's very optimistic- can't help but feel his happiness when you listen to it. Plus, Phil Collins has a great voice.

3.When You Wish Upon a Star from Pinocchio. It's the unofficial Disney theme song. It represents everything that is good about Disney and it makes me tear up a bit when I really listen to it.

4.Bare Necessities from Jungle Book. We all should follow Baloo's advice: simply your life, it'll make you much happier!

5.Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins . I could easily take the entire Mary Poppins soundtrack- it's my favorite. But this is definately my favorite song from the movie. Don't know why. I just think Julie Andrews sings it so beautifully...

6.Remember...Dreams Come True Fireworks soundtrack. It's my absolute favorite fireworks show ever, and it's just chalk full of sounds from Disneyland. I just love it!

7.Under the Sea from Little Mermaid. Very upbeat and happy. Another classic Disney moment. Plus, the message is great: be happy with what you have, life is great!

8.I Just Can't Wait to Be King from Lion King. I just love this song. Lots of great memories associated with this song... And again, gotta love Simba's big plans for life. He dreams big, like most children.

9.Go the Distance from Hercules. Again, not my favorite movie. But I love the message of this song, and it has great orchestral moments.

10.He's a Tramp from Lady and the Tramp. I love this song- Peg is so sassy!

11.Strangers Like Me from Tarzan. Once again, I love Phil Collins. Tarzan is a great movie and it has an excellent soundtrack. This is my favorite song from this movie- his enthusiasm for knowledge is infectious.

12.That's How You Know from Enchanted. Tee hee! This song and this movie just make me happy :)

13.Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty. Classic movie, classic song. And one of the few princess voices that doesn't hurt my ears.

14.Whole New World from Aladdin. One of my favorite Disney movies, and definately my favorite song from the movie. It's pure joy, isn't it?

15.A Star is Born from Hercules. This song is just very catchy- good ol' gospel music. Makes me want to dance!

To sum up, my songs have to make me shout for joy, cry with happiness, or giggle at the optimism. Because that's what Disney is to me: a feeling that I'm a kid again and that my dreams can come true, if only I believe in the goodness of the world.

If I Never Knew You: Pocahontus, So romantic 5. Circle of Life, Lion King: Best opening ever 6. Beauty and the Beast: Fav song for piano 7. Strangers Like Me, Tarzan: Driving music 8. So Close, Enchanted: Makes me cry...I'm a military spouse 9. We Are Siamese, Lady and the Tramp: shows how evil cats really are 10. Spring Song, Bambi: so irritating, yet so cute
