Thanks for the info, disneyholic1977! So, it doesn't seem like I could use the ticket to offset some the AP renewal cost......I was listening to one of the podcasts and I thought they mentioned that you could...guess they were wrong....oh well. Thanks again! :-)

Hi Karen!

Hioe this helps answer your questions. This is from the Disney World website:
If I have a valid multi-day ticket or an Annual Pass or Passport, is there anything else that I can receive?

Guests who present a valid multi-day ticket or Annual Pass or Passport may choose from one of the following three options instead of receiving the free 1-day, 1-park ticket:

◦Disney's FASTPASS® Special Exchange Cards for certain attractions for you and up to 5 additional members of your party. †
◦A Special Ear Hat figurine with unique trading pins‡
◦Donate your free ticket to one of the select non-profit organizations designated by Disney Parks:

■Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern California
■Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida
■Dreams Take Flight Canada
*Guests presenting complimentary ticket media are not eligible to receive the Exchange Card or Ear Hat figurine options.
†Present voucher at applicable Theme Park ticket booth for Exchange Card. Participating attractions are subject to change. Valid theme park admission required. The number of Exchange Cards is limited and may not be available after 11 a.m. All Guests in your party must be present to receive the Exchange Card.
‡ See voucher for redemption locations.

Valid ID and a valid Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® multi-day ticket, Seasonal Pass or Annual Pass or Passport along with the voucher will be required at the time of redemption for options. No cash refunds or credits will be provided to Passholders or multi-day ticket holders who participate in the "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day." program and choose not to redeem their voucher for a ticket or exchange it for one of the options.

Hi - I have an annual pass this year, since Oct, because we will have two trips planned......wish I could do it every year! Does anyone know if I can use the 1 day pass from volunteering to offset part of the AP renewal? I'll have to check that out.....maybe I can justify another year...and 2 trips next year! :-) Have a good weekend everyone!

We are kicking off a brand new program for our Annual Passholders, so I wanted to pass it onto other AP holders to get some feedback. As an Annual Passholder, we know that you do not always get the extra special attention you deserve as a repeat guest to Disney World. We kicked off a program, where you get an extra discount off an AP Package (room and Dining Plan) and you get extra points to use to redeem for fun Disney merchandise as a special thank you for being a repeat guest. Here are links to the AP Packages and AP Rewards Program. I would love any suggestions from AP holders!

I have been an AP holder for 6 years now, we are also DVC members. We go 2 or 3 times a year, can't stand Ohio weather. (lol) I still have to tell everyone who asks why not go somewhere else that until they go to WDW you just don't get it. For us there is no where else to go!!
DisneyGal83 Comment by DisneyGal83 on July 3, 2009 at 9:59am
I have been an AP for about three or four years now. We are also DVC members, so there really are no more excuses for my family members about why we can't afford to go to WDW.

I am a teacher as well... All that time off is wonderful for using my AP.
