We have ADR'S at Chef Mickey for March 1 at 6:45 but our flight now doesn't come in until 4:50. I don't think we will make it! Any suggestions for another place? We will be at MK that night for EMH and will have 3- newbies with us. thanks

We are staying at Pop,and we won't have a car this time. We'll only be there a week and the rest of our party has never been to WDW. I imagine we will in the parks most of the time.

If you will already be in MK, why not eat there? There is the Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends as characters. Or you can try to push your ADR back for Chef Mickeys so you have time to get there and not be rushed. You can also try to get into 'Ohanas at the Polynesian (no characters) or 1900 Park Fare at the GF with Cinderella and Friends. All of these choices are buffet with the exception of 'Ohanas which is family-style. Hope this helps!!!

Crystal Palace would probably be a good alternative if I can't change the ressies at Chef Mickey's. We have reservations at O'Hanas later in the week. Sounds good

Another good option inside MK is the Liberty Tree Tavern -- the food there was yummy! I think I read somewhere that the meals there weren't going to be Character Dining anymore, so you might want to check on that if your newbies really want a character meal (and why wouldn't they??). I hope your reservation at O'hana is for the character breakfast, because I can tell you from experience the food is excellent, and the character interaction is fun!

First of all, I'd pack some snacks for the plane, or grab something quick and light at the airport before you get out of the terminal. Then you'll be good to hold off until after you check in and get to the MK! Make a reservation for a late seating at Ohana.

If you hit it right, you'll see Wishes go off while you're dining at Ohana, or if the time is late that night, walk out to the beach and watch from there.
We have ressies at O'hana's later in the week. I called today to see if I could get a later time, but everything was booked except 10:00 pm. at CM. We also have ressies at Liberty Tree later in the week. I don't know if we should just take our chances and show up!!
