About Me

Hey! There's no official section for random information, so I wanted to make one for myself! Anyway, I'm Amy, Amers or Rocko, or Hey You! and I'm the one on the right in my profile picture. Since I'm on this site, I obviously love Disney. I also had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the Walt Disney World College program for the better part of 2007. It was the most amazing experience of my life and the friends and memories I made there will remain with me forever. The slideshow below shows some of my favorite people, places and moments at the Florida House of Mouse!

After my program, I returned to my University, graduated in December 2009 and moved to California... it's pretty fabulous here and I can't wait to visit Disneyland and California Adventure! I will probably post another slide show after my first couple of visits, so stay tuned!

In addition to Disney, I love musicals, adore Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Katharine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn and all the Hollywood stars of the 30s-60s (and a few since that time as well), and I love classic rock music such as Aerosmith, Queen, Styx... you get the idea. I even lived in the now legendary "Snow White Campground!"lol! I worked merchandise while a CP and then interviewed for Guest Relations while still on the program (I worked there spring semester my senior year) I came home to graduate and pack up all my belongings and then moved back down to the best job I ever had!! Being in the program is a definite plus when going back down to get a "real" job - so I say do it!!!!

Cosmic Rays a Classic

True, the food is not the highest quality one can find on Disney property (Club 55, anyone?), but when it comes to deciding on a lunch or dinner that will appease the entire group (at WDW's Magic Kingdom, that is), I cannot think of a better choice. The menu is large enough to offer many choices, obviously, one receives ordered sustenance rather quickly and meals for the whole fam won't break the bank.
