I'm currently staying at the Yacht Club for a conference that's being held here at Walt Disney World. I don't remember dreaming last night, although I know that everyone dreams, every night - several times as a matter of fact.



Dreaming happens typically during Stage IV REM, the deepest part of the sleep cycle. Unless you regain consciousness during or immediately after REM, you won't remember the dream - but that doesn't mean you didn't dream. You did!

If I could work for Disney, then I think I would like a job in horticulture. Maybe I would work in the greenhouse, growing all those hydroponic Mickey-shaped pumpkins. Or maybe I would run around with a little flat of annuals to replace the ones that have withered and expired. OR, perhaps I could make topiaries for the festivals! You know who I'd make? The Cheshire Cat! Such an under-rated character, and not enough merchandise devoted to him, either.…

The "new" marketing campaign sounds pretty much like all the others to me. Newcomers to the Disney parks will find it exciting and fun, but I think people who go to Disney parks regularly (yearly or more frequently) are going to find it just a modified version of all the other "celebrations" marketing campaigns.

The music from Illuminations: Reflections of Earth never fails to put me in that Disney mood. EPCOT is my favorite park. I usually stay at one of the EPCOT resorts, so I try to end my day at EPCOT and walk "home" to my hotel afterward. Love exiting the park with visions of Illuminations in my head, jammin' to "Way-la, oh way-la way-la!" :D
