YAY! I'm so glad you got it already! I know its a super weird mass of odds and ends but I know its the kind of stuff I like to look at even when I'm there so I figured as another super Disney fan you would hopefully enjoy it all too!

The DisFriends meet was super cool. I know Kevin and I really want to get to Disneyland again in the next couple years...so hopefully when we finally get there we'll be able to have a DL DisFriends meet!

We know the dates and the resort so far for August. We'll be there roughly Thurday, August 12-Friday, August 20. We have a big two bedroom DVC unit at Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge reserved for 8/15-8/20 so the kids and my BIL & SIL will definitely be there for those dates. Kevin and I are going early to get a little relaxing time in on our own from 8/12-8/15. But its possible his brother might arrive already on 8/14 and the fun will begin a day early. They'll be driving so it depends on how they divide up the long drive.

Beyond that we're hoping to start super planning this weekend now that the kids know we are going. Kevin's brother has already said that they are going to rely on us to be the master planners since we are the "experts" but a lot will depend on how many park days they decide to do...how many dinners out they think they'll want. So much discussion will be needed over the next few months!

Your trip to Disneyland sounds like it went wonderful! Good weather, favorite rides and a Dole Whip for good measure! :) One thing I was sad about our anniversary trip was we really didn't try hard to get too many rides in. I was especially sad after the fact that we didn't get on Big Thunder - that's my favorite. Speaking of trips...did you end up going to San Diego with your friend?

that's so awesome!! its going great, especially because my cousins are going to come visit from Nevada and they are going to come with us! its cool because they have never been there and i like to see peoples reactions on their first trip to the Disneyland resort!

Hey lady! Just wanted to stop by and say hi - it feels like ages since I last checked in with you! What's new and exciting by you? Have you been to DL since we last chatted? Know when you are headed back next?

We had a great anniversary trip to WDW. We are still pouting about being home this week of course. :) At least now when I think to myself "one week ago today..." I no longer can be sad about WDW. One week ago right now I was getting on the plane to leave!

We met up a week ago Monday with 4 DisFriends which was completely AWESOME! I hope more trips in the future line up with other DisFriends plans so I can do it again. Everyone was just as nice and fun as they are here on the site.

Now that we are back we're planning for the big family trip with Kevin's brother and his family. There will be the 4 adults and the 4 kids so it will be a good size group and should be a lot of fun.

Hello, Just wanted to drop by to say hello. Hope everything is going fine for you.
The surgery went fine, but now I have to stay around home for three weeks and am not able to do much. I can't drive for two weeks. Oh well, guess I'll get out all the Disneyland trip planning DVD's and watch them.
While the rest of the country is being covered with snow or heavy rains, my area had had nice spring like weather. The tupips and daffodills are coming up.

If I could eat one thing only from a Disney park, what would it be?

I would have to say definately a tasty Cheeseburger from Taste Pilots' Grill in California Adventure. They are so fresh and delicious, I always eat there on my trips. Ohh, and who could resist their crunchy Criss-Cut fries served on the side?! That is definately my favorite meal!...

How I beat the heat....

My favorite way to beat the heat would have to be by drinking a Frozen Lemonade! Yumm. But I also love going on Pirates' because it feels so fresh inside! Haunted mansion is also really cool, with all of our ghost friends inside! :P Plus, DCA has a lot of cute little refreshing playtime water stations inside of "Its a Bug's Land." My day with Walt Disney...

If I could spend one day with Walt Disney, what would I do?...
I would go to Disneyland and have him show me how all the magic started. I would ask if we could go on all his favorite rides and do all of his favorite things. My favorite Cast Member encounter...

I would have to say my favorite Cast Member encounter is from my most recent trip in April.
As many know, I took my parents for their 23rd Anniversary. Well of course I hade to get them Anniversary buttons, and an "I am Celebrating!" button for myself.
Well we headded out to lunch at DCA because the burgers at Taste Pilots' Grill are absolutely awsome!
