last time i went in sept we were hit with hurrican Floyd - but that was back in 99! from what i remember there wea quite a bit of rain too but still a LOT better than british weather which im used to :P

We're going in Sept./Oct. for free dining for the first time and don't really know what to expect. Are the menus different? And how hard is it to get ADR's?

So, what is everyone having for Easter?
This will be the first time in 8 years we haven't been having Easter dinner at the Coral Reef!! So i will be cooking! We are having Ham with apricot/pineapple glaze , lasagna, tossed salad, asparagus with lemon butter, scalloped potatoes, ambrosia, assorted easter breads and rolls and lots of desserts!! What about you guys?

Who besides me is tired of cooking?
My Ds is home sick----AGAIN!!! So I'm sitting here trying to think of something for dinner that he might actually eat. I finally decided to make chicken and biscuits. I made the biscuits shaped like Mickey Mouse! They're huge. But honestly every year around this time I get tired of winter food. Anyone have some great meal ideas? I would love to hear them!!

Here We Go!!
Well we leave in 3 days for the World, what a week it has been!! Ty was sick, I was sick with the respiratory and stomach bug. Even the dog was rushed to the vets!! As I was rushing the dog to the vet and trying to cram a 92 pound dog into the car, apparently I herniated a disc in my back. My caring MD yelled at me and said I had no business trying to lift an animal that almost weighs as much as me!!But I think that any pet lover would have done it!1 ( I am right aren't I?) How do you comprehend?
Last nightaround 10:20 pm a Continental jet crashed into a house about 45 min. from our house. Everyone on board was killed along with a person in the house. We leave for Disney in 2 weeks, as it is I do not fly well. My heart is in my throat, and my sorrow for all those affected by this, Those poor families, hug your children and your spouse today. You never know,

Sharon said… - Hi Trish, Yep, all the tour operators in the UK are offering free dining plan now for when we go in October. My hubby has had big arguments with our tour operator who will not change our booking so that we can have the free dining . They have said even if we cancel the holiday we will loose our deposit, some £1400 ($1900) and if we rebook we would still not get it because its not a new booking as such! If we had booked direct through WDW then they would alter our booking and give us the free dining with no problem! We're not happy, but unfortunately there isn't anything we can do about it.

That is a good question! I have really been looking at doing either the WDW program or the DL program. I did the DVC as kinda practice but uts not really where my heart is. My ultimate goal is hotel management so I really want to be able to chose between working in hotel at Disneyland or Disney World. I would prefer WDW cause I love it there but i do need to take into account earnings and such. I'll keep you updated on the rsults

- Hi. We are back from our Disney trip and had a good time. But, life has been a little sad lately. When we left, my Grandmother went into the hospital. Last Friday, she passed away. We all miss her but it's nice to think that she is in God's hands and happy in Heaven with our Grandfather. Then I got really sick and have been recouperating for the most of the week. I hope to have some pictures of our trip up soon. When you said that your trip was crazy... was that good crazy or bad crazy? I hope it was a great trip and would love to hear about it.

- LOL - Hello Trish - yes we got the snow. We live about 25 minutes from London so we had it fairly bad on Sunday and Monday but nothing compared to what you guys would get. And yes, I can quite see why you would think its funny that just 8" can bring the capital to a stand still. We just don't know how to cope with it - lol. Thankfully though, Amy's school was closed on Monday and as I wasn't well I didn't fancy the 15 minute drive to the school. She was back on Tuesday, but the amount of children that live right on top of the school couldn't manage to get it - really quite funny. It was lovely to see though especially as we don't get snow fall like that very often and it was my little boy Ethans first time ever really seeing it as he's only 23 months.
Have you still got it bad where you live at the moment? Still, how long is it until you are back at WDW - can only be about 5 weeks? Not that you're counting or anything.
