8 Disney Resorts in 2 Days
I just finished touring (8) Disney Resorts in less than two days with my favorite Cast Member tour guides, Tommy and Rita. We toured Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort and the Villas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort yesterday and then Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Disney's Boardwalk Inn Resort, and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It was a whirlwind of rooms and resort amenities!
As a travel agent specializing in Disney World vacations and a Florida local who visits almost weekly, I was still amazed how many new updates I saw on this quite two day tour. I visit a new Disney Resort at least one time each month, sometimes two times each month and we always rotate resorts to make sure we cover every Disney Resort each year. Just in the short time since my last visit to these resorts, there were already many new improvements or updates. Here are a few of my favorites.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins are a unique resort opportunity and really cater to larger families who want a more rustic Disney World vacation. I always love the Cabins and as a family we always have so much fun at this resort. The Cabins all went through an update including new carpet, bedding, beds, and even furniture. All of the new rustic themed decorations were just incredible. It is a huge improvement over the older bedding.
Another update that really left me breathless was the new theme and amenities at Disney's Coronado Spring Resort. It is considered a modern flaire on the Southwest style of Southwest Americas and Mexico. The furniture, bedding and event the new flat screen TV's were all spectacular. I almost felt like I was at a Disney Deluxe Resort instead of a Disney Moderate Resort. Another nice improvement is the new Queen Beds instead of Double Beds. In the past, you could only get the Queen Beds at the Disney Deluxe Resort. No longer, you can pay a moderate price and still get a good size bed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
One more quick improvement was the new Pirate Themed Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. These rooms looked great in pictures, but seeing them first hand was awesome. Any pirate fan in your family would have so much fun in this room from the pirate ship beds to the barrels that hide the mini-refrigerator to the pirate skull on the curtain that separates the bedroom from the vanity area. It is truly an incredible room and still very reasonable in price.
These are some of my favorites during my whirlwind tour of 8 Disney Resorts in 2 days. I hope you enjoyed some of the pictures I added to my album while on my tours. I will upload more pictures once I am back in the office.
Have a magical day!
