Dole Whips are usually my first snack on my Clockwise trek around the Magic Kingdom! I saw someone's video lately with a tutorial on how to make your own at home! You can order the mix right from Dole! Either way, they are truly soothing and fantastic, and are a must have on every trip to the MK!!! Just makes Adventureland feel right.

I love dole whips! I always get the pineapple/vanilla swirl. Soooo good! I'll have to definitely get one in December!

Oh, luscious frozen treat
how I crave
your pineappley goodness
that makes me rave

swirled high inside the bowl
like a yellow mountain high
i use my spoon to lap you up
before letting out a yummy sigh

the line to savor your tasty goodness
can sometimes block the way to adventureland
and while i may have to wait in that 30-minute line
i truly can't wait to get you in my hand

others may prefer the more prevalent snacks
of cinnamon-sugary churros and salty popcorn
but given my druthers of what to eat
i want the one shaped like the matterhorn

They are great. They have a recipe online that shows you how to make them at home also. This is the you tube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1fnJHTrI_o it shows how it is made. It is from the inside the magic podcast.

ok so now i'm thinking i need to try both the whip and the float....but there's diff combos too? oh no!!!

so i tried the float....pineapple/pineapple combo. yumm. didn't get a chance to do the whip but my daughter did both and is hooked!!!

my advice is go to the quick service restaurant in the polynesian. There you can purchase a cup that you fill yourself. the cup is bigger than the ones in the park and because its a do it yourself, you can put as much as you want in it. after a couple times of getting these making them bigger without them falling over gets easier and easier
