Yesterday morning I saw Disney on Ice Princess Wishes! I've had a pretty bad cold for the last few days so getting there wasn't a lot of fun, but once I was in my seat I was ok and the show was incredible so it was all worth it. :D As you can see we had a great view!

I tried my best to get good pictures, but it was quite a challenge with my compact camera and all the fast movement and unusual lighting conditions. I took hundreds, but most of them are either motion blurred or out of focus, so here are the good ones. I hope you like them!

Some of my favourites...

Ariel was definitely the star of this show - not only because her story was given the most time, but also because the skater playing her was amazing! I believe she was the same girl we saw in Princess Classics in 2006, so it was great to be close enough to see how well she acted the part this time.
Thankfully the show wasn't as "Disney Princess" orientated as the name suggests. In fact, some of the male characters like Aladdin, the Genie, the seven dwarves, Eric, Sebastian, Philip and Prince Charming were given as much, if not more, time and attention than the Princesses, whose personalities were true to their original movies.
It was a really fun and action-packed show with great music and costumes, and amazing special effects, especially the giant fire-breathing dragon! I'd love to see it all over again. :D
