Hey... I totally agree with the WDW thing, everybody loves it, and I haven't been there either, but let's not forget one thing... all started with Disneyland!! LOLDLLogo.gif

So what's ur favorite ride at Disneyland?

same here, is a hard one, but I like the Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Space and Splash mountain

I like your pictures from the updates to Its A Small World! What did you think of them in the end? From the pictures I've seen I think it all looks pretty darn cute...but I can appreciate where some people are coming from who are not happy with the changes.

Awesome! Its good to hear a positive review of the changes. The characters look like they're so well done in the style of the ride and you are totally right about how kids love to identify with the characters they know! My next trip is to WDW over Memorial Day weekend. We were originally headed to DL for our 5th anniversary in February and it fell through. I'm still moping over it! We're DVC Members and have been really lucky to make a lot of trips to WDW but only one to DL so far. I've been really hoping for a chance to get back to DL, there is so much new since I was there in 2006!

I know it won't be the same but I'm still excited, basically I'm there to work and gain experience. I think the area in general offers a lot more to do cause when you live and work at Disney World Thats usually your only entertainment. Looking at Cali I see a lot more to do than just Disney. I also want to be able to say that I have worked at both places :-).

I actually don't work at Disney world right now, I did the College program last spring (08) and worked in Hospitality.I'm currently finishing my degree in Resort Management and will be joining the Disneyland team in august as an intern in Hospitality Operations. from there I will either except a position with them or go back to Florida to do some more interning at the World. currently I'm in Colorado lol

The college program was an amazing experience, i made a lot of life long friends and had a blast working at All Star resort. it got stressfull during spring break but in the end it was hard to leave and come back to the "real world" I suguest doing it!!! Make the connections now for the future.

Thanks for the friend request! :) The best part about DisFriends is talking Disney with people who actually want to talk about Disney! Besides my husband, our friends and family are kind of over our Disney obsession! But there's always super people here on DisFriends who never get sick of it too! How often do you get to go to Disneyland? We have been averaging 3 trips a year to WDW which is pretty awesome considering we live in Wisconsin!

Thank you for your comment, I actually I will share the secret with you, there is a site where you can print them (paper models) I used card stock to make them more durable, there u can print them, except for the "it's a small world facade model" that one is my very own original hehe, but have fun making paper models of Disneyland!!! www.disneyexperience.com after you build your fist one, I recommend to visit ur nearest Michaels store for little trees and stuff that u can add to your model.
